Manned Security Guarding

We are able to provide security guards to fit all requirements, from a uniformed patrol officer to act as a visible deterrent to a smartly suited front desk officer to handle access control.

Although the SIA base level qualification is that of Retail Security Guard, we only recruit staff with the higher level Door Security qualification. We firmly believe that using only staff with this higher level of qualification ensures when you hire security, you get an effective Security Guard capable of dealing with any possible situation.

The skill set required of Door Supervisors has now broadened far beyond simple physical size.

Modern Door Supervisors need to be friendly to the patrons who are there to enjoy your venue, diplomatic with those who are not permitted, physically capable of safely restraining and ejecting those who represent a danger to your staff or patrons, effective at liaising with the police and finally capable of maintaining correct records of incidents and venue capacities.

Event Security

Whether it’s the security on your site for a Royal visits, through to the staging of a 10,000 person event in Trafalgar Square, we have done them all. Advantage Secure has a proven track record of creating security risk assessments plans which meet the rigorous requirements of the Metropolitan Police and Greater London Authority. For us event security is not simply about the deployment of Event Security Guards on the day, it also about the detailed planning of the event to ensure it runs with the complete support of the local authorities. Prior to Security Guard deployment our event planners are able to assist in providing plans to deal with evacuation planning, barrier location, access control and deployment diagrams often required by the local authorities.

  • Security staffs are specifically briefed on every site they work at, from the location of fire exits to the nearest cash point for patrons.
  • Our Door Supervisors attend police - terror threat awareness courses.

  • All security staff are SIA licensed and fully vetted to BS7858 (British Standards for static site guarding) which includes a 10 year checkable history and visa checks for foreign workers.
